Grupo Pedro Jaén is a medical group founded more than forty decades ago with the aim of providing medical, surgical and aesthetic solutions to address any need related to skin health and appearance. Led by Dr Pedro Jaén — Head of the Dermatology Department at Ramón y Cajal University Hospital in Madrid and Associate Professor of Dermatology at the University of Alcalá — the group has consistently demonstrated a strong commitment to education, research and the development of a highly specialised medical team. This approach enables us to offer fully personalised patient care, aligned with the highest standards of medical quality.

Our care model is based on a high level of specialisation, with medical teams organised by areas of expertise and made up of leading specialists in specific diseases, techniques and procedures.

We are a reference medical group in clinical dermatology, aesthetic dermatology, hair disorders managed by dermatologists, dermatological laser treatments, plastic, aesthetic and reconstructive surgery, endocrinology and nutrition, gynaecology, allergology, vascular surgery, urology, regenerative medicine and other medical fields. All of this is delivered through a coordinated approach focused on the highest standards of patient care.

More than 15 medical specialties work in close coordination to provide patients with comprehensive, 360-degree and fully personalised care. This structure enables us to continuously incorporate the latest medical and technological advances in diagnosis, treatment and follow-up, always guided by rigorous clinical criteria and scientific evidence.

With a network of eight centres — seven in Madrid and one in Brussels — the group ensures accessibility, continuity of care and a comprehensive approach, always prioritising minimally invasive, safe and evidence-based treatments, with natural-looking and effective outcomes.

Leadership in research

For many years, Grupo Pedro Jaén has been at the forefront of research into skin cancer and melanoma, both in diagnostic techniques and surgical procedures. Our team was among the pioneers in introducing treatments such as Mohs micrographic surgery and photodynamic therapy. We have also contributed to the development of essential diagnostic tools for skin tumours, including reflectance confocal microscopy and the VECTRA® imaging system.

International projects

Our specialists actively participate in international research projects across multiple fields, including hair disorders, oncology, gynaecology, psoriasis and regenerative medicine, among others.

Education, technology and personalised care

At Grupo Pedro Jaén, we firmly believe that the development of any medical specialty depends on continuous professional training. For this reason, we carry out an extensive educational programme through seminars, courses and master’s degrees accredited by prestigious institutions such as the University of Alcalá.

Our teaching activity has been recognised by the Spanish Academy of Dermatology and Venereology, which has accredited Grupo Pedro Jaén as a training centre for dermatology residents with a focus on aesthetic dermatology.

Since its inception, the group has been committed to building a multidisciplinary medical team capable of offering highly specialised treatments and truly personalised medicine. This is achieved by combining the most advanced technology and innovative procedures with a humane, individualised approach tailored to each patient’s needs and circumstances.

We are a global reference centre for research and development in laser-based treatments and operate the largest private clinical and dermatological laser platform in Europe. We also work with cutting-edge skin cancer diagnostic systems, such as confocal microscopy and VECTRA®, which allow precise mapping of skin lesions and moles.

We also believe that technology can enhance patient care. In recent months, we have been developing our Patient Portal — an online platform through which patients can book appointments, access medical reports and carry out online consultations (via chat or video call). This initiative enables a more comprehensive, accessible and personalised model of care.
