Our commitment to integrity and transparency

At GRUPO DERMATOLÓGICO Y ESTÉTICO PEDRO JAÉN, S.A. (hereinafter, GRUPO PEDRO JAÉN), we are firmly committed to conducting our activity in accordance with the highest ethical standards and regulatory compliance requirements. We believe that a transparent, honest and safe working environment is essential to the trust placed in us by our patients, employees and collaborators.

In compliance with Law 2/2023 of 20 February, regulating the protection of persons who report regulatory infringements and the fight against corruption, we provide this Whistleblowing Channel, a secure and confidential means through which any person linked to our organisation may report, in good faith, any potential irregularity or breach they have detected.

What can be reported through this channel?

This channel is intended for reporting potential irregular conduct, including but not limited to:

  • Fraud, corruption or bribery
  • Workplace harassment, discrimination or conduct contrary to equality principles
  • Breaches of occupational health and safety regulations
  • Non-compliance with data protection regulations
  • Conduct harmful to the environment
  • Any other act or omission that may constitute a serious infringement of European Union law or a serious criminal or administrative offence under applicable legislation

Important: This channel is not intended for customer complaints or for matters related to employment relationships that do not constitute a legal or regulatory breach. Specific channels exist for those purposes

Who can use the channel?

This channel is open to all persons who have or have had a professional or employment relationship with GRUPO PEDRO JAÉN, including:

  • Current employees, including during recruitment processes or after the employment relationship has ended
  • Trainees, interns and staff in training
  • Partners, shareholders and members of the governing body
  • Contractors, subcontractors and suppliers

Channel guarantees: confidentiality and protection

GRUPO PEDRO JAÉN guarantees that all communications will be handled with the utmost diligence and respect, in accordance with the following principles:

  • Confidentiality: The identity of the whistleblower and any third parties mentioned will be treated with the strictest confidentiality
  • Anonymity: Reports may be submitted anonymously
  • Prohibition of retaliation: Any act of intimidation, retaliation or discrimination against the whistleblower is strictly prohibited and will be acted upon
  • Data protection: Personal data will be processed in accordance with the GDPR and the Spanish Organic Law on Data Protection (LOPDGDD)
  • Right to advice and remedies: Whistleblowers may request confidential advice and, in the event of retaliation, have the right to access the remedies provided for under Law 2/2023. The legislation also provides, in certain cases, for exemption from or mitigation of liability (Article 40).

Within the form, you may describe the facts, identify the persons involved and attach any supporting evidence. We recommend providing as much detail as possible to facilitate the investigation.

What happens after a report is submitted?

Once your report has been received:

  1. Acknowledgement of receipt: Issued within a maximum of 7 calendar days.
  2. Assessment and investigation: The person responsible for the Internal Information System will assess the report and, where appropriate, initiate an investigation
  3. Resolution: The process will be concluded within a maximum period of 3 months (extendable in complex cases), and you will be informed of the measures envisaged or adopted

External reporting channels

In addition to this internal channel, Law 2/2023 recognises the whistleblower’s right to report directly through an external channel:

  • Independent Authority for Whistleblower Protection (A.A.I.), operational as of 1 September 2025. Official contact details will be included here as soon as they are published
  • Reports may also be submitted to the competent authorities, depending on the nature of the facts reported
