The Body Aesthetic Unit has a multidisciplinary team that addresses not only body aesthetic concerns themselves, but also the medical conditions that may be associated with them. For this reason, the Unit includes not only dermatologists and aesthetic medicine physicians, but also nutritionists, endocrinologists and lymphoedema/lipoedema specialists, who are incorporated into the care team when required, with the aim of achieving optimal results in the short, medium and long term.

In the same way, body aesthetic specialists at Grupo Pedro Jaén can rely on the Vascular Surgery and Plastic Surgery Units when patients present body aesthetic concerns linked to these specialties.

One of the distinguishing features of the Grupo Pedro Jaén Body Aesthetic Unit is the integration of aesthetic procedures that lie between in-clinic treatments and operating theatre surgery.

These procedures are performed using minimally invasive techniques, on an outpatient basis, without hospital admission, and using only local anaesthesia and/or sedation. They have a high safety profile and short recovery times, with virtually no risk of complications or need for specific postoperative measures. As a result, patients return to their daily activities immediately or within a few days, most often without requiring sick leave.

This unit is also a pioneer in the management of complex cases and complications arising from previous aesthetic treatments, which our specialists assess through clinical examination and ultrasound imaging.
